Singularity singled out for Microsoft Worldwide award

Singularity, the global Workflow and Business Process Management (BPM) vendor, has been singled out for praise, beating off competition from over 2,400 entries worldwide, to win a 2006 Microsoft Partner Program Award.

Representatives from Singularity were in Boston last week to collect the hotly contested “Winning Customer Award”, won in recognition of the company's performance as one of Microsoft's top partners, delivering market-leading, Microsoft®-based solutions, at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference.

"We're delighted to win this recognition of our work with Microsoft's key corporate clients and strategic partners,” said Singularity's Director of Strategy, Dermot McCauley. "The award underscores our ability to help organisations improve their top and bottom line using our industry-leading Business Process Management technology in a Microsoft-based environment.

“We won the award based on the business benefits we have delivered to Bank Tokyo Mitsubishi, the world's 5th largest bank, for their securities loan processing division.

Our process analysts helped Bank Tokyo Mitsubishi redesign its highly manual Loan Ticketing process, and automate the new process with the Singularity Process Platform.

The new process contains fewer steps, involves higher levels of automation, requires less time input from staff and provides customers with faster, better service, reducing processing time by 50%, manual steps by 60%, greatly reducing the cost of service, while improving the quality and management of information throughout the process,” Mr. McCauley said.

“It is our pleasure to congratulate the Singularity team on their Microsoft Partner Program Award for the outstanding technology solutions delivered for their customers in Bank Tokyo Mitsubishi in the last year,” said Colin Cassidy, Microsoft Partner Development Manager.
