Singularity makes Deloitte Fast 50 for fifth year

Singularity has been included for the fifth consecutive year in the Deloitte Ireland Fast 50, ranking at number 31 on a list of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Ireland. Rankings are based on average percentage revenue growth over five years. Singularity, a specialist in Business Process Management software, was founded in 1994 and is now a multi-million dollar operation with offices across Europe, the US and Asia. The high tech firm has experienced continuous rapid annual growth in revenue and profitability since its inception.

“We're delighted that the Deloitte Fast 50 ranking yet again recognises our continued market-beating growth rate” said Singularity Director of Strategy Dermot McCauley. “This rate of growth is due to a consistent investment in developing innovative technology while hiring and cultivating the best people. Our intention is to significantly accelerate this rate of growth in the coming five years”.

The Awards ceremony took place in the Mansion House, Dublin and was timed to coincide with the inaugural Deloitte Technology Forum. Announcing the winners of the Technology Fast 50 Programme, Tom Keenan, Partner with Deloitte, Belfast said: “What's very encouraging about this year's awards is that we are seeing strong performances from both new and previous entrants. This bodes well for our indigenous Irish companies and proves that Ireland is consolidating its position as a key player within the sector, while simultaneously producing fresh and innovative new companies.”

The Fast 50 programme started in San Jose, the centre of Silicon Valley, California in 1995 and has expanded to over 20 major cities world-wide. It quickly became the growth benchmark of success in the USA, and has now gained significant adoption in Europe.
