Singularity launches new release at Gartner BPM Summit

Singularity Launches Release 3.2 of the Singularity Process Platform™

Singularity today launched a new release of its Business Process Management Suite, the Singularity Process Platform™, equipping its customers to drive quick BPM deployments that provide early results.

“We've noticed that most implementation time on major process projects is spent on screen design, data integration, system integration and report generation”, said Joe Bellofatto, US Sales Director for Singularity. “Our R&D team has focused on each of these areas in this release so we can really squeeze time-to-deployment, making sure our customers get to see real benefits early in the lifecycle”.

Main themes of this release are:
• Reduced Deployment Time – a new Forms Builder provides a market-leading web-screen design and deployment environment, with forms being automatically generated, eliminating the need for coding and enabling customers to design and deploy their interfaces within hours, even minutes. New modeling nodes also eliminate coding requirements for system integration, while updates to the Data Access Wizard means data integration can be accomplished through graphical point-and-click. The Business Activity Monitor enables customers to rapidly generate dashboard screens and reports, all without coding.
• Richer Performance Management – In this release performance monitoring is more fully integrated as part of the process modelling environment. Tight integration of Singularity's Business Activity Monitor to the Process Platform enables a powerful combination of analysis and proactive response to exception events identified by the analysis. For example, a breach of performance tolerances identified by the Business Activity Monitor can now trigger the execution of compensatory processes, as well as alerts over a variety of channels including instant messaging and SMS.
• Enhanced Modeling – Singularity's modelling environment has been enhanced to facilitate easy data integration through improvements to the Data Access Wizard, and faster system integration through the Activity design nodes. The existing Visio integration has been extended to support more of the standard Visio templates.
