Singularity finalist for company of the year

Singularity has been short-listed for Company of the Year 2006 by the Irish Software Association. The Company of the Year award recognises firms who have demonstrated outstanding performance over the previous year, combining aspects of technical innovation, sales achievements and successful partnering strategies. The announcement that Singularity has been short-listed reflects the company's consistently strong performance over the past 10 years. Founded in 1994, Singularity is now a multi-million dollar business with operations in Derry, Belfast, London, New York, Singapore and India.

Despite the challenging business environment in Northern Ireland, the firm has grown by an average of 30% for every year of its existence, driven by major sales to the government, financial and telecommunications sectors, and now employs over 180 staff. Singularity has won numerous awards over the years for its financial performance and for its product excellence and technology leadership. The company has been at the forefront of introducing the latest technologies and management processes, for example being one of the first firms in Ireland to obtain CMMi certification, a highly prestigious international accreditation for software processes.
