Singularity makes Deloitte Fast 500 for the second time

Singularity has been included for the second year in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA, ranking the 500 fastest growing technology companies in Europe. Rankings are based on average percentage revenue growth over five years. Singularity, a specialist in Business Process Management software, was founded in 1994 and is now a multi-million dollar operation with offices across Europe, the US and Asia. The high tech firm has experienced continuous rapid annual growth in revenue and profitability since its inception.

“We're delighted to receive inclusion for a second year” said Singularity Marketing Manager Michael White. “This comes after our inclusion earlier this month in the Deloitte Ireland Fast 50 ranking for the 5th time, and follows on from a Sunday Times Tech Track 100 listing. The aim of everyone in Singularity is that we continue to deliver the rates of growth that generate this kind of recognition from the industry”.

The Awards ceremony took place in the Palais Brongniart, Paris. The Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA program aggregates the rankings from a variety of Deloitte Fast 50 rankings across Europe and is sponsored by Deloitte's Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) global industry group

Key trends observed from this year's rankings were that

• Software firms continue to dominate the ranking, providing 44 percent of all listed firms, followed by communications and networking with 16 percent,
• Proportional to population numbers, technology firms in Ireland, Israel and Norway are most successful in the ranking.
• The United Kingdom has the most ranked companies with 91 of the 500, closely followed by France with 84.
• The Fast 50 programme started in San Jose, the centre of Silicon Valley, California in 1995 and has expanded to over 20 major cities world-wide. It quickly became the growth benchmark of success in the USA, and has now gained significant adoption in Europe.
