Product Marketing Manager, Singularity Ltd
Job Role
Industry-leading Business Process Management software vendor, Singularity Ltd. (www.singularity.co.uk), seeks an exceptional and experienced person to help grow its reputation and dominance in its chosen markets. The Product Marketing role requires an individual with proven ability to understand complex technology solutions, interpret market data/intelligence, formulate a distinctive product concept and work with others to bring this concept effectively to market.
Principal responsibilities are to:
- Develop, plan and execute a ‘Go to Market’ Strategy for all Singularity products.
- Develop, plan and execute Product Launch Plans for each Product Release.
- Identify market-led product features and incorporate these in Product Roadmaps.
- Analyse the competitor landscape and create widespread understanding of this within Singularity.
- Identify new product opportunities within the marketplace.
- Collate customer feedback and incorporate into overall Product Strategy.
- Liaise with Analyst Relations and Affinity groups to provide them with briefings/updates on the Singularity product suite and to gain wider market intelligence.
- Create standard means of communicating Singularity’s core product value proposition, such as presentations, trailers, demonstrations, etc.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience:
This is a tough, competitive field and we are looking for an established marketing professional. Candidates must have at least two years experience of a similar position, marketing complex technology solutions.
Specific experience of the Business Process Management software industry is preferable, but not a prerequisite.

Product Implementation Consultant
Job Role
Singularity helps companies throughout the world profit through the successful application of business process technology and as a result of increasing demand for our award winning BPM suite the Singularity Process Platform in this growing market, we are expanding our Professional Services delivery team.
The role involves the provision of specialist technical expertise in integrating and configuring, our BPM Product, Singularity Process Platform™ (SPP) into existing software environments at our customer sites, to produce new platform-specific versions of the software product.
Candidates must have a 3rd level qualification in Computing, relevant experience using C# and .NET, ASP, VB and SQL/Oracle would be benefical. Experience in the telecoms, banking or public sector and the use of agile development techniques and tools is preferred. Excellent communication and teamworking skills are also important.
Principal Duties:
- Provides technical expertise in the integration and configuration of the SPP product on customer sites.
- Demonstrates expert knowledge in all product features, installs (including field modifications) software product and any upgrades. Diagnoses and resolves any problems with local system configuration. Proficient in use of Installshield.

General Role
To develop software within teams and to contribute to the design and implementation of high quality software to customer requirements.
Summary of Tasks
- Contribute to requirements definition and maintenance.
- System/Component Design – creation, modelling, documentation and maintenance of designs.
- Development of system design and architecture, programs and program modifications from supplied specifications using Singularity’s standards and tools to achieve a well-engineered result.
- Plans, designs and conducts tests of programs; corrects errors and re-tests to achieve an error-free result.

- Implement the Singularity Quality Management System as it applies to design and implementation phases of the project lifecycle. Contribute to the development of the QMS. Participate in code reviews with colleagues to ensure code adheres to design and follows quality guidelines.
- Programming - Demonstrate knowledge of syntax, semantics, data types and data structures, error handling, in one or more core language - C++, VB (.NET), C# or Java. Able to follow design specification and apply knowledge productively.
- Unit Testing - Perform effective component/module level testing – including testing inputs, outputs, control flow, boundary conditions, error handling.
- Database Programming - Use of SQL to query, insert, update and delete data stored in a RDBMS. Use of joins, grouping and aggregate functions. Data access technology including ODBC/ADO/OLEDB.
- Code Maintenance - Analyse and comprehend an existing code base. Efficiently investigate and debug defects. Design and apply fixes and enhancements consistent with existing design.
- Software Analysis and Design - Design of components, classes, interfaces, algorithms, data structures to meet defined requirements. Use of formal techniques and notation including object oriented analysis and design.
- Requirements Capture and Specification - Gather information, model tasks and users, determine scope and priorities, identify non-functional requirements, obtain approval, manage the requirements and apply change control techniques.
- Documentation - Produce and maintain documentation deliverables as required with appropriate use of text, notation and diagrams. Apply version control and traceability to related documents.
- Estimation - Able to produce accurate estimates of the effort required to complete specific software development tasks.
- Development Tools - Expertise in Visual Studio, SourceSafe, 3rd party tools. Able to use tools effectively to debug complex problems.
- Windows Operating Systems - Knowledge of the Microsoft Desktop and Server platforms including 9x, NT, 2000.
